My love of high heels is unconditional and undeniable and that will probably never change. That being said, I also can’t deny that it’s not easy to rock them on an everyday basis running errands or going to work or strolling around the city with friends. That’s why my sneakers are always my go-to shoes. I recently decided to invest in another pair because why not. 😛 And let me tell you they are the most comfortable fashion sneakers I own so far.
Comfortable Fashion Sneakers You Need This Season
I know we are officially in the fall season and most people are on the hunt for the perfect boots, however, I’m more of a sneaker girl, so boots or high heels are not the top priority on my shopping list right now. One and the most important of the reasons is that they are not as comfortable as a pair of sneakers and the second is that in the places where I live (I’m in between the Netherlands and Greece) the majority of the people have a laid back and a casual style. So sneakers are just the pair of shoes I need that will take me from one place to another with ease.
Since I have an obsession with them, I was on the hunt for the perfect pair of sneakers for almost half a year and I dare say that I finally found the one! My current favorite pair and the latest addition to my sneaker collection is the Nike Air Max 270 in white with black details. It’s a pair that launched on February 2nd, 2018 and I’ve been eyeing it since then, so I finally decided to go for it. Let me tell you it’s something I don’t regret a bit because since I purchased it I have worn it in so many places with many different styles of outfits and it never let me down.
Nike Air Max 270:
What makes these shoes gain the title of the most comfortable fashion sneakers is the lightweight fit, as well as the air soles that make you feel like walking on clouds. They combine comfort with fashion, so what more can we ask? Plus, they are versatile because of their sleek design and can be paired with jeans or dresses, skirts, and of course gym pants. This pair retails for 150$ which is a pretty standard middle ranged price tag for Nike. What I mostly like about these shoes is that they are giving a sporty vibe to any of your outfits without looking too casual.
I went for the total white with black details pair because I know I will make the most out of it and looks good with almost all of my clothes. After all, you can never go wrong with a white pair of sneakers.
There are endless ways to wear them, but below I will mention the ones I find myself creating more often.
With a flowy maxi dress
In an older post of mine, I mentioned this combo, and little did I know I would love redoing it for fall with the Nike Air Max 270. Lately, I find myself reaching more often for maxi and midi dresses, especially for fall and winter, and being able to wear them with my favorite sneakers is a match made in heaven.
With leather trousers
I’m all about the leather look for fall and winter, so I own a pretty decent collection of leather items. Basically, the most worn item in my fall wardrobe is a pair of faux leather skinny high-waisted trousers I purchased a few seasons ago. Combining them with sneakers and oversized sweaters is the easiest way to leave the house looking put together.
With a structured blazer
I love wearing blazers on a daily basis even when I’m just running errands, but sometimes they might make you look overdressed. A great way to dress them down and make them wearable on more occasions is with a pair of sneakers. The Nike Air Max 270 didn’t let me down when I tried this combo either, so what more do I need to say?
With a co-ord set
I very recently started wearing matching tops and bottoms, so I’m very new to this look. However, it is a very easy and efficient way to look put together and get out of the house with zero effort in zero time. Just throw on your favorite sneakers and voila. Your look is complete and you are ready to leave the house looking bomb.
With zip culottes
I only own a pair of zip culottes, because I don’t reach for this type of bottoms very often. However, I changed my mind when I combined the Nike air max 270 with my culotte pants. Let me tell you they are a great match especially for casual wear. Just throw on a simple tee or a knit sweater depending on the weather and you are good to go.
With gym pants
This is a no-brainer combo. You can never go wrong wearing your sneakers with gym trousers, whether they are yoga pants or sweatpants. Throw a sweatshirt on top and you are ready to hit the gym. Or the city, depending on your style. 😉
This is the latest outfit I put together with the Nike AirMax 270. I wore a maxi button-down dress which I bought in the summer sale and I threw a knit sweater on top to fight the sudden drop in the temperature. Last, my leather jacket, a belt, and my current favorite sneakers! Could it get simpler than that?

But let me tell you when you say Eindhoven, I don’t imagine anyone showing leg, in my mind, it’s freezing cold 365 days, I’m in sunny South Africa so cold to me is warm to you, hahahaha. Eindhoven is cold, but mostly in the winter months, in fall, spring and summer is pretty fine, so showing legs is ok! 😛 I’m glad you liked the look and the shoes!
That’s such a great post about Air Max 270, I like how simple it appears and it really looks nice with the dress. I’m sure that this sneaker is very comfortable, the good thing is, that it’s autumn season which is perfect to wear it and it fits with many clothes.
Since I’m a Nike fan I might give it a try, the temperature where I live right now is similar to Eindhoven.
